as a designer and art director i focus on branding, printed matter and exhibition design, often for cultural clients or small family run businesses.

to me, to design is interpreting one language to another. it’s translating the client’s message and values to their customers, visually specifically.

i’m aiming for an appropriate interplay between functionality and appearance, simplicity and complexity – with all the subtleties and nuances inbetween.
using all kinds of media, i see myself working along the intersections of art and design.

about me
i studied graphic + communication design at die graphische in vienna 2010–2013, as well as at tokyo metropolitan university in 2009.
i got a degree in japanese studies from university of vienna and took photography classes at university of applied arts of vienna.
