私にとってデザインプロセスとは、情報を抽出し、整理し、定義する手段であり、それを視覚言語へと翻訳することで、最終的にわかりやすく伝えるためのものです。場所と時間にふさわしいストーリー、言葉、トーンを見つけることが核となります。

as a designer and art director i focus on branding, printed matter and exhibition design, often for cultural clients or small family run businesses.

to me, the design process is a way to extract, clarify or define information — ultimately making it accessible by translating it into visual language. it’s about finding the right story, words, and tone for the right place and time.

i pursue a thoughtful interplay between functionality and playfulness, simplicity and complexity — with all the subtleties, nuances, and indefinables in between.

using all kinds of media, i see myself operating at the intersection of art and design.
